"Landmark successfully completed the project by the final deadline such that the University of Guelph could meet the requirements to receive funding for the project from Ontario Power Authority (OPA)." - Simon van Wonderen, Partner, MCW Custom Energy Solutions, Ltd.

The University of Guelph Thermal Energy Facility is the first of its type in Ontario. Within five years of being online, the tank was expected to pay for itself in energy savings.

This project was required to be completed during the winter, with completion milestones remaining fixed. Through strategic reorganization of workflow and planning, Landmark was able to meet the expedited schedule.

Highlights:

  • Canadian steel supply delay was resolved by leveraging Landmark’s US supplier relationships.
  • Project required development of complex process piping.
