Summary

Location: Halifax, Nova Scotia
Industry: Municipal Water
Project owner: Owner: Halifax Regional Water Comission

Owners past experience with previous tank’s poor design led to additional operational costs resulting from excess corrosion in the roof structure. Landmark worked closely with the project team to provide a very low maintenance but complex self-supporting steel roof alternative requiring advanced analytical and design capabilities as well as precise component fabrication.

Operational Highlights:

  • Constrained site and complex roof required Landmark to adapt our means and methods for the erection process.
  • The exacting tolerance requirements for the roof components were managed using the Landmark US fabrication equipment and expertise. The project would not be possible without the precision of our internal fabrication capabilities.
  • Engineer, Procure and Construct (EPC) project.
